In 2009, I began creating cute and nerdy art for the licensing market, focusing on apparel companies like Threadless, Teefury, and Shirtwoot. Since then, I’ve illustrated over 250 designs for this market. My work has been printed hundreds of thousands of times, and I’ve even had the surreal experience of randomly meeting people around the world wearing my shirts. This industry has taught me invaluable lessons about design principles and the art of understanding your audience while staying true to my creative vision.
